well... i suppose i should address the elephant in the room. or donphan to make it a pokemon pun i guess. it's been a hectic nearly-2-years since the last time i've touched the logs-- or even the site in general. i could rapidfire bulletpoint out major life changes mostly made up of woes, but that feels contradictory to the energy and emotion my younger self put into this site to begin with. as much as i may have regrets and frustrations with where the past has led up to, it would feel wrong to trample over the spark of creativity and positivity this site has archived in its beginnings.

now, to cut out the waxing poetic about life-- let's start talking pokemon (and maybe some other things too)!

i've still got my 3ds i had from back when this site was first made- though admittedly i've neglected it, and i don't even play on my switch much anymore it's a bit inconvenient wwwww... because of that, i've been considering doing a gen 3 nuzlocke, probably frlg? it'd be my first one in a long while, and it seems pretty beginner friendly ^^; still in the planning/debating ruleset phase tho!! plus i gotta figure out how i'll format the nuzlocke logs still, i don't have any notes from 2023 about my ideas from back then anymore so i'm flying by night so to speak

outside of pokemon stuff, i've been stuck in a fixation on okami for months now (the sequel announcement was CRAZYYYYY i was shaking) and have been debating maybe making a shrine about that but i want to focus on one project at a time right now... but the temptation is there. this may be a personal site, but it's for a specific media and hobbies within it so any kind of character shrines beyond pokemon feel odd to have under this domain i suppose? brain is weird. back to here, i'm considering adding a part of this site for linking to inspirations? blisy is in the sidebar already, but papajefe is another good resource for getting into rng manipping... absol/matt is another inspiration for shiny hunting in general but his own hunts specifically inspired the chronolog segment of this site in how his shiny hunts coexist along with his life in a way that really makes me feel a lot, yknow? and it's fun to watch pchal suffer wwwwwww

ahhh i've been rambling, so i'll cut this log off here. hopefully it will not be too long until my next one!
